Proposal · Stage One Prepared for Jonah Hescock June 2026
IRL Dining Experience Platform

Get the thesis
in front of the
market, fast.

A polished, live presence and a real outreach engine, built to prove people on both sides of the table want this, before you spend a dollar on the full app.

Stage One Validation site, signup capture, and a done-for-you outreach engine.
$1,200, all in Build plus the full marketing & outreach package, no add-ons.

Prove the demand
before building the machine.

The objective here isn't the full booking app. It's signal. A market-ready presence so you can start knocking on doors and collecting real interest: a waitlist of diners on one side, restaurants raising their hands on the other, over a 30–60–90 day validation window.

Once the traction is there (your benchmark of roughly 10–15 committed restaurants and a meaningful waitlist), we move into the web app for booking, payments, and ratings. This proposal covers Stage One only.

A site that tells the story
and captures intent.

Fast, beautiful, and built on a foundation that carries straight into your future web and mobile app, with no re-platforming later.

A

Next.js landing page

Not Webflow. Same time-to-launch, far more scalable, and the codebase carries directly into the future app. Renders cleanly inside Instagram's in-app browser, so ad clicks never bounce people to the app store.

B

Dual signup capture

A clean, attractive form for the diner waitlist, with a separate intake path for restaurants expressing interest.

C

Airtable backend

See, sort, and work your signups and restaurant leads without touching code, even manually seating people the night of the first meal.

D

Tracking, baked in

GA4, Hotjar, and event tracking so every click and every ad dollar is attributed. This is what tells you exactly which demographic and ICP is converting.

  • Channel-by-channel attribution
  • Conversion funnel + heatmaps
  • Hosted and handed off on Cloudflare Pages

Plus light AI-generated restaurant imagery and starter posts, so the site and Instagram don't look empty on day one.

Outreach Package

The package that gets you
to your first dinner.

Included free, on top of the build.

This is normally a paid engagement of its own. We're throwing it in to get you from "live site" to "first dinner happening," without you figuring out the outreach from scratch.

The outreach engine

A dedicated sending setup: a separate sending domain plus deliverability config, so your main domain is never at risk, wired into a managed platform. Why it matters: this lets us continuously reach out, and follow up, and follow up again, to restaurants and influencers until they're in the system. Most replies come from the 3rd or 4th touch, not the first, so persistent automated follow-up is what actually fills the pipeline.

The contact lists

Sourced for you
100+
Restaurant contactsResearched across Nashville & Austin, with owner/manager emails, matched to the off-menu, storytelling, chef-driven profile.
50+
Micro-influencer contactsLocal food & lifestyle creators, 5–10k follower range, with emails or DM paths.

Outreach, done for you

We execute
100
Restaurant email sequences3 touches each, up to 300 emails, pitched on the bring-you-a-paying-table angle.
50
Micro-influencer sequencesAcross Instagram and email, 3 touches each, on the free-meal-for-promotion model.
10
Directory + community submissionsMeetup, local event boards, and relevant directories where your audience already looks.

Content, ready to post

We create
7
AI-generated food imagesFor the site and Instagram.
15
Instagram launch postsCaptions plus visuals.
25
Reddit postsStory-led, spaced out over time across the right local and food subreddits, so it builds presence instead of looking like spam.
50
Reddit commentsGenuine, spaced-out engagement in relevant threads, so the account reads as a real community member, not a bot.

Fills the next
gathering

You don't need 500 signups to start. Around 50 gets you three meals on the board, which is enough to spin up your own content engine.

$1,200
Flat · Everything above included

Here's where we're coming from. We talked about $1,200 on the call to get the site live, and that number holds. But honestly, we really liked you, and we think it'd be fun to work together on this. We think it can become something real, and the mission behind it (connecting people and sharing the joy of gathering over a meal) is something we find genuinely cool and want to be part of.

So rather than treat the outreach and engagement work as a separate add-on, we're just throwing it into the $1,200. The full launch package above (the sending domain, the contact lists, the follow-up sequences, the content, all of it) comes with the build at no extra charge.

For context, our engagements normally start at $5–7k and move into $16–20k monthly retainers, and the outreach engine alone would usually be its own line item. We're doing this at cost because we want to work on it.

5
The one thing we'd ask in return.

If you like the work, and only if you do, five warm introductions to people in your network in our wheelhouse (e-commerce or businesses in the ~$20–100M revenue range). That's worth far more to us than the project fee, and given your network it shouldn't be a heavy lift. Entirely contingent on us earning it.

Site up fast. Engine
running right behind it.

Weeks 1–2

The polished site

  • Next.js build, designed and live
  • Diner + restaurant signup forms
  • Airtable backend wired up
  • GA4, Hotjar & tracking in place
  • Hosted on Cloudflare Pages
Weeks 3–5

Outreach & content

  • Sending domain + platform live
  • Contact lists sourced & loaded
  • All sequences launched
  • Full content set generated
  • Everything handed off to you

This keeps you comfortably inside your 30–60–90 day validation window: site up fast, then the outreach and content working in the background to start filling the pipeline.

Where it gets
genuinely fun.

The part that differentiates this from TimeLeft and the rest is the AI framework behind connecting and booking people: matching diners to tables, optimizing experiences from rating data, handling payments and venues. That's the web app stage, and it's exactly what we'd scope once the market says yes.

There's also a longer conversation to be had about a deeper, equity-based partnership if the validation lands and we both like working together. Worth revisiting then.
